Authentic Presence Webinars:
Exploring the Heart of Living and Dying

This conversational series of on-demand webinars draws from our faculty's many years of professional experience in end-of-life care, grief and bereavement support, and contemplative care practices. Covering a range of relevant topics, these webinars are designed to educate and support caregivers, and the patients and families they care for, as they reconnect with their sources of well-being, purpose, spirituality and wholeness.

Caring for the Grieving in a Time of Pandemic

Hosted by Dr. Ann Allegre, MD, a specialist in hospice and palliative medicine and Senior Educator for Authentic Presence, in conversation with Authentic Presence faculty Pam Russell, LMSW, and Youske Eto, LCSW. Pam is a hospice social worker in upstate New York supporting patients and families living with terminal illness, and facilitating bereavement support groups for parents and children. Youske is a hospice social worker with over 21 years of experience, and currently lead social worker at Housecall Providers Hospice in Portland, Oregon.

Some aspects of caring for the grieving have become more difficult during this time of pandemic. This conversational webinar offers education around the human experience of grief and grieving as well as presenting the contemplative approach and perspective on caring for the grieving, especially under stressful circumstances.
