UK/Ireland: 5:30pm / Continental Europe: 6:30pm
Join us for this two-part live virtual event with Kirsten DeLeo, author of the award-winning book: Present Through The End – A Caring Companion’s Guide For Accompanying the Dying.
When accompanying a dying parent, friend, or patient, we are challenged to be present even though we may feel powerless. To stay when we want to run. To love while loss is just around the corner. And, to be fully alive to every moment as time is running out.
In these sessions, we will explore:
What can we say or do when nothing can be done?
How can we stay sane, grounded and kind in the midst of chaos, loss and grief?
How can we help a dying person connect with their sources of strength and meaning?
What about unfinished business or challenging family dynamics?
How can we offer our spiritual support at the moment of death?
Sessions will include: Time for Q & A, discussion, and short guided meditations. Additionally, the sessions will be available to stream afterwards so you can watch them in your own time at home whenever you wish.
